Sunday 4th March: WCBF service at Barnoldswick led by
Norman, followed by a Super Soup Lunch.
Super Soup Lunch is a fundraising event for Christian Aid when
we will share a simple lunch of bread and soup and make a
donation to the work of Christian Aid.
The lunch on Sunday 4th March will be a WCBF
fundraising event. On Friday 30th March there will be
hundreds of super soup lunches throughout the country. If you
would like to host your own lunch that day, at home or at work,
talk to Julie, Margaret or Carol about how to do it or get
information from the Christian Aid Website.

Home Groups:
In January the home groups started a new series on the
beatitudes. You will be made very welcome at any of the home
groups. Don’t worry about missing the first one in the series as
each study stands on its own.
If you would like to know more, talk to any of the leaders or
hosts: Nick, Mel, Julie, Carol, Margaret, Abi
Pastoral Team:
The pastoral team will be meeting on the 6th and 20th
February. Please pass any concerns or news to any member of the
team.
From the Mission Group:
There is a quiz night at Salterforth on the last Thursday of
each month. Teams
are usually 4-5 people and the cost is £5 per person which
includes a supper. We would like to encourage a
team from WCBF to support the event and develop relationships
in the community. The next quiz nights are
on Thurs 23rd Feb and 29th March.
Earby and District Churches Together AGM on Thursday 9th
February.
Please note the start time is 7.00 p.m. There will be a hot
supper at the start of the meeting so you will not need any tea.
A donation of £2.00 is requested towards costs.
Carolyn Eastwood will give an illustrated talk on the Holy Land.
